Oh hey there. Didn’t see you walk in. Me? Oh, I’m fine. Just did our first three shows with Ludo and haha tonka and without a face. They were great! For some reason Philly NY and Boston are always some of the best stops for us. I think it’s the people. Yeah, it’s the people. Were driving in upstate new York right now and it’s pretty freaking beautiful. I want to go pick apples and wear flannel and make a fire and wear wool socks. Love it. We’re on our way to Columbus OH to play the basement. Gonna be a good one hope you live around there so you can come party with us. Welp, be in touch and all that.
Love,
Nathan
hey guys. we have some unfortunate news. due to personal reasons, ben haley has decided to step down as the drummer for meese. it’s important for us to make sure all of you know that there aren’t, and could never be, any hard feelings between ben and the rest of us. we love him and his family and wish them the best. see you on the road this fall.

hello from colorado. us in the meese army have been home for a couple of weeks now- moving into new apartments, watching “its always sunny in philadelphia”, and spending time in our lovely state as the leaves start to change and it gets colder outside. we’ve got lots of suprises coming up for this Ludo / New Heathers tour that we start on oct 16 in philly. stoked. also, our halloween show in denver is going to be off the chains. we’re having our good friend (and monolith founder) DJ HOT TO DEATH spinning on the 1’s and 2’s and our good buddies from a few miles up I-25- The Northern Way, playing at the show with us, along with the new heathers and ha ha tonka. wow. i would get tix immediately, but i think i’ll get in for free cuz i’m in one of the bands. but as far as you’re concerned, you know, if you live in denver, get some tix. its at the gothic. hokay, we’ve got rehearsal here in about an hour, gotta go. see you this fall and talk to you soon.

Hey guys
Hope all is well. We’ve been home for a couple of weeks now after what was a pretty monumental summer. After 21,000 miles through 39 states it takes a while to come back down to earth. But we’ve all safely landed and are totally ready for you to check out this sweet video of us all arm wrestling each other!
See ya out there

What’s this? Oh, yknow, just a live video for ‘Forward Motion’. Everything looks so much classier in black and white.

The Meese guys dropped by Studio1290 recently to perform a few songs, including an acoustic version of ‘Tell Me It’s Over’. Enjoy!
Check out Nate’s response to all the love Stephenie Meyer has recently been showing Meese, on MTV News!
-”Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer recently took to her blog to update fans about what’s been shaking so far during her summer: lots of reading, a bit of movie watching, and a ton of music listening. In her blog post, she gave love to a bunch of indie bands, and in subsequent conversations with MTV News, the bands gave the love right back to her.
“I really should have known about Meese a while ago, but thanks to a mislabeled CD mix, I didn’t realize Meese was responsible for one of my favorite songs until I went to their concert,” Meyer explained. “And then I was glad that I already loved them, because the guys in Meese are possibly the nicest people in the world.”
Guitarist Nate Meese was already a huge “Twilight” fan before meeting Meyer at their show in Phoenix this July. He’d picked up the first book at his record label before catching a plane to Denver, and got hooked at 40,000 feet.
“It was one of those things where you finish it in 48 hours,” he told MTV News. “When we met her backstage I gave her a CD, like, ‘Yeah, check out my band, let me know what you think.’ I never thought I’d hear back.”
But she did get in touch with Nate, and they’ve been corresponding back and forth about writing, books and the bands they both love — including groups that appeared on the “Twilight” movie soundtrack. “She’s a huge music fan,” he said. “She really likes Muse, I really like Muse.”
